Haalarivaellus 2026

Haalarivaellus returns after a year's break in a refreshed format. This year the route takes you across Lake Saimaa, and after sailing you arrive at a secret island.

On the island you have about four hours to prepare your own food, swim, and explore the surroundings - either as a guided group activity or at your own pace.

Bring weather-appropriate clothing, a swimsuit, your own food and drinks, and any necessary medications.

The event includes organized shared bus transport departing from LAB University of Applied Sciences at 9:00. Return to campus is around 17:00. You can also board the bus at a stop along the route near Armada shopping centre - however, the bus does not wait in the city centre, so you must arrive at the stop on time.
