Back to the 50s - Espoo Day

Museo Leikki celebrates Espoo Day on 29.8.2026 with the Back to the 50s event from 10:00 to 17:00. The programme follows the museum's "Time Travel 1950" exhibition theme.

On stage, visitors will see two Elvis shows (11:30 and 14:00), Hip Shakers Helsinki Rockabilly Jive dance lessons (11:00 and 13:30), dance performances (12:00 and 14:30), Pin-Up Petrols fifties fashion show (13:00 and 15:00), and limbo contests (10:30 and 15:30).

Other activities include a Time Travel workshop 10:30-13:00, paper doll craft workshop 14:00-16:30, vintage market 11:00-16:00, and outdoor hat-making kiosk 11:00-15:00 (weather permitting). All-day non-stop activities feature paper doll orienteering and American Iron.
