Big band jam sessions

Sointi Jazz Orchestra presents free big band jam sessions at Malmitalo in autumn 2026:

After a short performance by the house band, all saxophonists, trumpet players, trombonists, accompanists and singers are welcome to join in. The venue provides a drum kit, piano, bass and guitar amplifiers, music stands and sheet music - bring any other instruments and drumsticks you need. The repertoire is selected for players of different levels, and the pieces are chosen based on who shows up.
