Strand is a dance theatre performance combining contemporary dance, contemporary theatre, and live music. It traces the history, present, and possibilities of a northern port city. The approximately one-hour performance explores change - in the world, in time, and within people. The performance is not recommended for children under 12.

Premiere at Raahe Theatre on Thursday 3.9. at 7 p.m. Other performances: Friday 4.9. at 7 p.m., Saturday 5.9. at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Ticket prices: 15 € (standard ticket) and 10 € (students, under 18, pensioners, unemployed, and representatives of dance and theatre professions). Tickets in advance from Raahesali ticket office and Tiketti. At the door cash or MobilePay only.

Strand is the first collaborative work of four Raahe-based artists. The creative team includes director-lighting designer Rita Löytty, sound designer-performer Gabriel Korhonen, and dancers-performers Susanna Kinnunen and Sabrina Mielikki. The script was developed as a collective contribution by the team, inspired by Raahe landscapes, people, and local history.
