Possibility for Child rf: Colour in Life - Colourful Pictures - Ages 7-12 with Parent

Colour in Life - Colourful Pictures is a course for children aged 7-12 who need special support and their parents. The child and parent form a working pair who explore different materials and tools together under guidance - based on their own interests and special needs, at their own pace.

During the course, participants experiment with colours and techniques such as salt painting, modelling, and printing with various objects. Participants can also make their own fidget toy and print a fabric bag to take home. Support tools such as visual aids, fidget toys, and hearing protection are available, and the work is approached in a multisensory way - sensory or instrumental work is chosen according to the participant.

In the art therapy approach, the shared process is more important than the end result. The course is led by art therapist and visual arts teacher (TaM) Maarit Myllynen, who has also developed the Colour in Life courses. The course is implemented by Possibility for Child rf. The language of instruction is Finnish.
