Hip hop and breakdance classes - free trial sessions autumn 2026

Kuopio Street Dance Association organizes hip hop and breakdance classes for adults throughout autumn 2026, catering to both beginners and those with prior dance experience. The autumn season begins on Wednesday 2.9.2026, and during week 36 all classes can be tried for free without advance registration.

Weekly classes:

Wednesdays:
- Hip hop beginners, adults 17.45-19.00
- Breakdance (15+) open level 17.30-19.00

Thursdays:
- Hip hop beginners continuation, adults 17.15-18.30
- Hip hop intermediate, adults 18.30-19.30

Sundays also feature open and free jam sessions 16-18.

Venues:

Hip hop classes and jam sessions: Puistokoulun dance hall, Puistokatu 13. Note: jam sessions move to Puistokoulun from Sunday 20.9. During summer, jam sessions are held outdoors behind the theatre, and on Sunday 23.8. jam sessions are replaced by KUKA dance club @ Panza restaurant (Käsityökatu 19).

Breakdance: Snellmanin school hall, Maaherrankatu 13.
