Kyykkä is a centuries-old game in which teams throw wooden cylinders - kyykkä - with wooden clubs (kartor) to knock them off the playing field. For many new students, Fuksikyykkä is their first introduction to the sport - and a great opportunity to practice for the spring Vaasa championship or the World Kyykkä Championship held in Tampere.

The event starts on 29.8 at 10:00 with the first groups of new students, and matches continue in stages until around 14:00. You'll get the exact schedule and your group's time slot from your tutor. Participation is free, and you'll receive a badge for your overalls.

The event is organized by Ville-Matias Parkkonen and Venla Martimo. The event is made possible by TEK, VEO and The Club Billiard.
