Webinar: Downtown Helsinki Master Plans Updated

The update of downtown Helsinki's master plans is progressing district by district. In Kaartinkaupunki, Punavuori, and Ullanlinna, as well as in several blocks of Eira and Länsisatama, the plans are being revised to reflect the actual built environment while protecting buildings, parks, and other urban spaces.

The plan proposals are available for review from 28.8. to 30.9.2026 at hel.fi/suunnitelmat, where you can also submit comments.

A joint webinar for all areas will be held on Wednesday, 16.9. from 17.00 to 18.30. You can ask questions to the planners during the session. Join via the link below - you don't need to download the Teams app; you can participate through your web browser or mobile device.

You can participate under your own name or a pseudonym. If you use your own name, it will be visible to other participants. The City Environment Division will delete discussion data within a week of the webinar. The recording will be available on the City of Helsinki's YouTube channel for two weeks after the event.
