Kaikuranta rose to prominence through the 2012 The Voice of Finland competition. His debut album "Vie mut kotiin" achieved triple platinum status and earned five Emma nominations; the title track and singles "Järjetön rakkaus" and "Näytän sulle rannan" all reached the top of the radio charts. His second album "Vaikka minä muutuin" (2013) went gold and features the hit "Vielä täällä". The third self-titled album was released in 2017.

The single "Tuu Tuu Tupakkarulla", released in 2024, is part of new, more personal music the artist is currently writing.
