Steel Sledges - As If It Were the Last Day - Audience Favorites

The "Audience Favorites" series presents once a month the most popular and requested films from the previous season.

In Pamela Tolan's film, we meet the steel sledges heroines Inkeri (Leena Uotila), Raili (Seela Sella) and Kerttu (Sanna-Kaisa Palo) as they embark on their final journey. At the reception, Inkeri overhears a doctor telling a nurse around the corner that her time is running out. Her daughter Maija (Pirjo Lonka) begins providing palliative care for her mother, but Inkeri has her own plans: first she wants to save Maija from repeating her own mistakes, then surrender herself to the Arctic Sea.

Inkeri escapes from the care home with the steel sledges and Matti (Eero Saarinen), who joins her journey. Before the Arctic Sea lie painful memories, strong emotions and forest paths.

Steel Sledges - As If It Were the Last Day is an independent sequel to the beloved Steel Sledges comedy from 2020.
