Tampere Jazz Happening takes place for the 45th time during the All Saints' weekend 2026. The festival's new artistic director Martyna van Nieuwland has curated a program featuring several Finnish premieres and continuity with the festival's history. The event also has the honor of opening the doors of the renovated Tullikamarin to the public.

The theme is the Netherlands, with Dutch music featured at Thursday 29.10. opening concert at Klubi and throughout the weekend's concerts at Pakkahuone. Dutch jazz musicians Neon River, RawFish, and AWICHAS led by Ibelisse Guardia Ferraguttin take the stage at Klubi. On Friday, the festival moves to the renovated Pakkahuone, where Finland's Jazz Association's prestigious Yrjö award is presented and the winner performs. Friday evening concerts feature Swedish Cosmic Ear, Tomasz Dąbrowski & The Individual Beings with Johanna Elina Sulkunen as soloist, and international MESTIZX. At Telakka, Kiri Ra!, Dantchev: Domain, and RinneRadio perform.

Saturday's daytime program at Pakkahuone features piano trios by Aruán Ortiz and Colin Vallon, and Mikko Innanen's Juhlayhtye celebrating the Jazz Suomi 100 anniversary. In the evening, Benjamin Herman, Kolinga, and Manu Delago and Max ZT take the stage. At Telakka on Saturday, Jukka Kääriäinen & Camila Nebbia, Raoul Björkenheim & Paal Nilssen-Love, and Elifantree perform. On Sunday at Pakkahuone, Beiggja, Claude Tchamitchian's Poetic Power, and vibraphonist Joel Ross with his Gospel Music project perform for the first time in Finland. The festival closes with a free concert at Klubi featuring French-Colombian ¡Ya Voy!.

PASSES

Festival pass (200 / 150 €) includes access to all Pakkahuone and Telakka concerts. Only a limited quantity is available.

Pakkahuone pass (160 / 120 €) grants access to all Pakkahuone concerts but not Telakka concerts.
