Horror in the Underground 2026 - Halloween Movie Festival

Horror in the Underground 2026 is Kuopio's first Halloween film festival and a full-day event at Sawohouse Underground.

Early in the evening, the programme features horror-themed indie films, competitions and activities - with prizes including gift vouchers and an Underground season pass. The evening's special screening presents the classic vampire film The Lost Boys (1987), and the event's headline act is The 69 Eyes. There are also pop-up sales points from local vendors and surprise performances.

The event ticket includes the concert plus the full day's side programme. The ticket is exchanged at the door for a wristband, allowing you to leave and return to the event. Door tickets 38 €, if available.

The event ticket's QR code also works as a travel ticket on Vilkun buses in the Kuopio region public transport. Travel rights are activated on the event day 3 hours before doors open and are valid for 6 hours after opening. The ticket also includes exchange rights. The ticket can be in PDF, mobile or paper format.

Jallu VIP (K-18)

With a VIP ticket, you enter without queuing, receive complimentary entry service and a VIP badge giving access to the VIP box in the immediate vicinity of the stage. The box has its own bar counter and seating is guaranteed throughout the event.

Individual seat tickets, four-person VIP tables or reservation of the entire VIP area for private use are available. Those wishing their own table must purchase a table seat (4 seats) - individual tickets do not guarantee a private table, but do guarantee a seat, possibly at a shared table. The VIP ticket does not include entry fee, food or drinks.
