Ein Deutsches Requiem

Ein Deutsches Requiem arrives in Lahti on Tuesday, 17 November 2026 at 19:00 at Sibeliustalo. Brahms's monumental choral and orchestral work stands as one of the great masterpieces of the Romantic era, uniting choir, soloists, and orchestra into a powerful whole. Sibeliustalo, opened in 2000 on the shores of Lake Vesijärvi, was designed specifically for the performance of classical music. The hall's large concert space is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, making it an ideal venue for this grand composition. This is one of two Finnish performances on the tour, with the other taking place in October at Lohja Church.
