Liesjärvi Nature Walk Day - Accessibility in Focus

On Saturday 19.9.2026, a nature walk day is held in Liesjärvi with a focus on accessibility.

At the Vesilahden bog bird tower (Vesilahdentie 214, Keuruu), guided tours run from 12 to 14. At Liesjärvi Village Hall, free sausages and coffee are served from 13 to 15, and visitors can also explore an arboretum with approximately 50 tree species.

Throughout the day, you can visit Liesjärvi's natural sites: the shore at Palorannan, the scenic viewpoint Mansikkamäki, the stone at Uuranjärvi, Sitka ravine, and the old-growth forest at Hirvijärvi. Maps of the sites are available at the Village Hall and the bird tower.
