Color Union

Keuruu's main library displays acrylic paintings and mixed-media works by Mirkka Välkky on the exhibition wall and screens. The exhibition brings together nature-themed, vibrant, and fairy-tale-like pieces created over just over two years. The style draws from impressionism and naivism.

Välkky is a self-taught artist whose interest in visual expression began in childhood. Mixed media inspired her in 2021, and active painting started in 2024. Color intensity and strong emotions form the foundation of her art.
