Traumatized Emily becomes a counselor at a summer camp for troubled children, where she meets a group of other staff - for them, the camp is an annual tradition. Soon red wine-fueled bondage by the campfire and esoteric life-celebration under the summer night unfold, as young women sink deeper into their witch circle.

Director-screenwriter Avalon Fast has named the genre of her films "girl horror". CAMP carries girlhood and young womanhood into a dreamlike melancholy, where traumas and the terrors of patriarchy transform into explosives - and where the film bows respectfully toward The Craft, continuing its exploration of witchcraft, occultism, and the intertwining of gender.
