LYY's 47th Anniversary Gala

Lapland University Student Union LYY celebrates its 47th anniversary on Saturday 3.10.2026 at Hotel Pohjanhovin. The evening features a three-course dinner and celebratory speeches. The gala begins at 18.00.

Around 22.00, guests are transported by bus to Restaurant Valdemar for the after-party, which continues into the early morning hours. On Sunday morning, the celebration concludes with a traditional academic herring breakfast, included in the dinner ticket price.

Dress code: formal or dark suit, academic insignia and honours.

Dinner tickets are sold via the Kide.app platform from Wednesday 9.9. at 12.00. For LYY members the price is 100 €, for others 135 €. A patron ticket costs 250 €, with proceeds supporting the student union's activities.
