Architect Juhani Pallasmaa's Life Work: A Dinner Without André

Architect Juhani Pallasmaa and filmmaker and writer Rax Rinnekangas meet at the Kolme Kruunua restaurant. Over an aperitif, they discuss life, architecture, film, literature, art, their mysterious friend André, changing Russianness, the state of the world, and memories - taking a mental journey around the globe. Finally, they turn to the menu to enjoy dinner, at which André is absent.

The film is dedicated to Luis Mallé's modern classic "My Dinner with André" (1981). A DINNER WITHOUT ANDRÉ (73 min, 2026) is directed by Rax Rinnekangas and stars Juhani Pallasmaa and Rax Rinnekangas himself. The production company is Oy Bad Taste Ltd.

The film is in Finnish with English subtitles. A discussion session in English follows the screening. Admission is free and no advance registration is required.
