Build Your First Smart Device - 1: Bring Light to Life

In this workshop series at Kannelmäki Library, you will learn the basics of microcontrollers and Internet of Things (IoT). You will build simple circuits and program them to control lights and sensors - and by the end of the series, you can assemble your own simple smart device.

No previous experience is required. Participants work in pairs, and bring your own laptop if possible. Recommended age: 12+

The workshop's main language is English. You can also communicate with the instructors in Finnish, Vietnamese, and Bengali.

You can attend one or more sessions, but the full series is recommended since the workshops build on each other. There are 10 places - book your spot here.
