Let's Get Doomed: Kahtia, Lupiinit, Astral Sleep

The Let's Get Doomed evening takes place at Kulturtehdas Vernissa in Tikkurila on 7 November 2026. Doors open at 19:00 and the show starts at 19:30. The evening is made possible by Velmu rf and produced by Echo Collective.

Three Finnish bands take the stage: Astral Sleep, Lupiinit, and Kahtia. Astral Sleep blends psychedelic doom metal with jazz, psych rock, noise, and various metal styles - the band calls their sound "Astral Doom Musick". Lupiinit serve up a mix of post-rock, shoegaze soundscapes, synth melodies, and extreme metal; influences include Paavoharju, Massive Attack, Radiohead, and Have A Nice Life. Kahtia is a Tampere-based poetry doom band whose songs are rooted in the poetry of Edith Södergran (translated by Uuno Kailas) - the music is powerful, low, and slowly building, marked by clear, scraping screams.

Tickets at the door 18 €, if available. An entry service fee of 3 € is charged at the door. Kulturtehdas Vernissa is located 250 m from Tikkurila railway station. The venue is accessible: accessible entrance, accessible corridors, and accessible toilet. Assistants enter free of charge.
