YTK Fuksiaiset brings together new students from the student organizations Remburssi, Jalot Villit, Kosmos Buran, and Lyhty for a station-based competition. The event theme is a journey to the south, and the best themed costume will be rewarded.

The event starts at the main entrance of the University of Lapland on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 4:30 PM, from where groups are guided to the first station. After that, groups move through the stations independently until 9:30 PM. Prize distribution and announcement of the winner take place at the summer theatre at 10:00 PM.

The event is held outdoors, so dress according to the weather. You will need to bring your OPM card and a costume matching the theme. The after-party takes place at Kansa.
