Aino Liinoja Trio

In November, singer Aino Liinoja, pianist Jimi Nurminen and bassist Jussi Hovilainen perform at Restaurant Kairo. The programme features jazz standards in fresh arrangements by the trio.

Aino Liinoja is a Helsinki-based singer and vocal teacher who has performed as a soloist at venues including Chez Django and with the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. Pianist Jimi Nurminen builds his playing on improvisation and dialogue between the musicians. Bassist Jussi Hovilainen studies at the Sibelius Academy's jazz department at the University of the Arts and works as a freelance musician, while also composing and arranging music for various ensembles.

Seating is unreserved and tickets are also available at the door. A 3 euro entrance fee is charged at the door. Minors may enter with a guardian. An assistant enters free of charge with the person they are assisting on the same ticket.

The restaurant has accessible entrance from the courtyard and accessible restrooms.
