Author Visit: Anu Kaaja

Anu Kaaja (born 1984) is a Helsinki-based author whose works blend contemporary phenomena, literature, and art history. Her latest novel is Siluetinleikkaaja (S&S 2026), which weaves together symbolism and imaginative characters.

Kaaja has won the Kalevi Jäntti Prize and the Jarkko Laine Prize. She is also a two-time Runeberg Prize nominee and has been nominated for the Nordic Council's Literature Prize and the Helsingin Sanomat Debut Prize.
