Puppet Theatre: Tale Safari

TALE SAFARI is a half-hour puppet theatre performance that takes audiences to the African savannah accompanied by flamingo songs and elephant trumpets.

On stage appear a giraffe, hippopotamus and tortoise - characters drawn from both African folktales and stories gathered from around the world. In the plot, even the smallest succeeds through cleverness against the larger, and ants save the day through their collective strength.

The script was written by Ilpo Mikkonen, with direction and puppets created by Rainer Kaunisto.
