Salon Classics - "To Friends, with Love"

The concert "To Friends, with Love" brings together musicians from the Tampere Philharmonic to perform works for string instruments. The performers are Lea Antola and Lotta Laaksonen (violin), Anni Tiainen-Hammo and Anne Korhonen (viola), and Risto Rajakorpi and Miika Jämsä (cello).

The programme includes J. Brahms: String Sextet No. 1, B-flat major op. 18 - E. Elgar: Salut d'amour, op. 12 - N.-E. Fougstedt: Romanssi - G. Gershwin: Lullaby - L. Ylönen/P. Vesala: Love Song - F. Sjölin: Naja's Waltz - A. Piazzolla: Libertango.

Advance tickets are sold through Lippu.fi: 11.50 € or 7 € (pensioners, crisis management veterans and students), plus booking fees. At the door on Sunday 27.9. from 14.30-15.00, tickets cost 15 € or 10 € (pensioners, crisis management veterans and students); payment methods are card, MobilePay and cash (exact change only). Children under 12 enter free, and one accompanying adult receives free admission.

The concert takes place in the Ylöjärvi Hall, entrance through door D of the town hall (at the council chamber and old Räikä side, Kuruntie 14, Ylöjärvi). The venue is wheelchair accessible.
