Seminar: Freedom of Speech! Boundaries and Courage in Children's and Young Adult Literature

The Institute for Children's Literature organizes a seminar on freedom of speech in children's and young adult literature on Friday, September 25 from 10:00 to 16:30 at Vapriiki Auditorium (Alaverstaanraitti 5, Tampere). The seminar explores freedom of speech in children's and young adult literature: whose voice is heard, who acts as a gatekeeper, and what topics cannot be discussed in books.

The seminar is open to anyone interested in the subject. The participation fee is 60 euros, 50 euros for members of the Institute for Children's Literature support association, and 25 euros for full-time degree students. Registration closes on September 11.
