Anti Festival: Tomi Leppänen (empty space)

Tomi Leppänen (FI) has long served as the graphic designer for ANTI festival, and now presents his installation art at the festival: the work (empty space) engages in dialogue with the festival's mission.

At the heart of the work lies a fundamental question of performative art expressed through visual art. The starting point is the idea that any empty space becomes a stage when a person enters it and there is an audience - but what happens when a participant arrives at an empty stage with no audience?
