Kriterium 2026

The Kriterium 2026 harness racing event for warmblood horses takes place in Teivo on Saturday, 26.9.2026. Racing begins at 13.00, and before the main races, two pony races are held on the track, one of which is the 4-year-old A-pony Ponikriterium. A detailed schedule for the day will be published closer to the event.

The day's main competition is the Ideapark Bläk Boks Kriterium Final, where 3-year-old warmblood horses born in Finland compete for a first prize of 80,000 euros. For Finnish horses, 4-year-olds meet in the Ideapark Bläk Boks Finnish Horse Kriterium Final, where the winner receives a first prize of 40,000 euros. The programme is completed by the Pohjantähti Grand Championship race, the Prix De Teivo monté final, and the Erilo race for coldblood horses - Gold Division.

Admission ticket in advance 13 €, on event day 20 €. Pensioners, students, and military conscripts pay 15 € on event day. Children under 16 enter free.

🍽 Kriterium Package - Restaurant Grand Prix includes an appetizer, buffet meal, admission, and programme. Price in advance 59 €/person.

The buffet includes: melon-mozzarella salad (G, L), Caesar salad (G, L), BBQ-seasoned ham pasta salad (L), and cherry tomato salad (G, L). Served hot are overcooked pork with dark thyme sauce (G, L), roasted potatoes (G, L), and honey-glazed carrots and beetroot (G, L). A vegetarian option is available from the kitchen upon request. For dessert, soft panna cotta with royal fruit sauce (G, L), plus coffee or tea.
