Build Your First Smart Device - 3: Build a Mini Smart System

A beginner-friendly workshop at Kannelmäki Library introducing the fundamentals of microcontrollers and IoT (Internet of Things). You will learn to build simple circuits and program them to control lights and sensors. In this final part of the series, you will create your own mini smart system.

No previous experience required. Participants work in pairs, and instructors can communicate in Finnish, English, Vietnamese, and Bengali. Bring your own laptop if possible.

Recommended age: 12+. Only 10 places available - book your spot in advance.

You can attend one or more parts, but the full series is recommended in order since the workshops build on each other.

Instructor is Danny Khong, who holds a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Assistant instructor is Wayne Brissette, who has over 35 years of experience in the technology sector.
