Children's Rights Day at Kanneltalo on 20 November

Kanneltalo celebrates Children's Rights Day on 20 November with music and creativity. All programmes are free.

The afternoon begins at 16:30-18 with two music workshops. At Jamkids' open jam session, children of all ages can try instruments, sing and move - you can join anytime. At the same time, Demo Music School's songwriting workshop guides school-age children and young people to create their own music. Both workshops are also offered as a preview as part of Wednesday clubs on 11 November. During the event, Kanneltalo's gallery features the Skidimarket exhibition, where children and families can play shop.

At 18:00, the Global Club Nights (GCN) club begins, aimed at music lovers of all ages. The stage features contemporary folk ensemble Tell Your Birds and Argentine composer, guitarist and singer Manu Rosales with his band. The club starts early so children can participate with an adult.

Global Club Nights is a club series bringing together music makers, enthusiasts and friends from different backgrounds. Kanneltalo's GCN evenings are realised in collaboration with the Sibelius Academy's Global Music programme and the World Music Centre.
