Autumn Library

Autumn Library brings autumn-break activities to Karkkila Library (Valtatie 26E) from Monday 12 October to Thursday 15 October, daily 10:00-13:00. The self-service library operates normally during the event, with activity stations set up between the shelves.

Early-week programme suits all ages:

Monday 12 October Stone painting workshop - paint your own stone.

Tuesday 13 October Shadow theatre workshop where you make your own shadow puppet. At the pin-making station, create a pin from withdrawn books or your own drawing. Book-craft activities produce bookmarks, calendars, reading journals, or whatever you invent.

Late-week programme is aimed especially at primary-school children:

Wednesday 14 October Read to Olaf the reading buddy 10:00-12:00 without advance booking. Library hide-and-seek is played with guidance on the hour at 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00 if there are enough players. Readers get reading treats, and the library gallery has a free Lego-building station.
