About the venue

Kalevan kirkko is a Lutheran church in Tampere, completed in 1966 and designed by Reima and Raili Pietilä. Its striking concrete form - often likened to a fish or a ship - makes it one of the most distinctive works of Finnish modernist architecture. Alongside regular services, the church hosts concerts and cultural events.
