About the venue

Kotkan kantasatama is the city's historic main harbour on the Gulf of Finland. In summer it becomes a busy outdoor event venue - most notably for Meripäivät, Finland's largest maritime festival. The quays and old warehouse buildings provide a seaside backdrop for concerts, markets and other public events.
