About the venue

Lakeuden Risti is a Lutheran church in Seinäjoki designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in 1960. It forms the centrepiece of Aalto's civic ensemble in the city, alongside the town hall and library. The 65-metre bell tower rises sharply above the flat South Ostrobothnian landscape and is one of the most recognisable landmarks in the region.
