About the venue

Porvoo Cathedral is one of Finland's best-known medieval churches, with origins dating to the 15th century. Built from grey stone and brick, it sits on a hill above the old town and serves as the mother church of the Diocese of Porvoo. The Diet of Finland was convened here in 1809, making it a landmark of national history. The cathedral also hosts concerts and cultural events throughout the year.
