About the venue

Sibelius-museo in Turku is Finland's only museum dedicated to composer Jean Sibelius. The building was designed by architect Woldemar Baeckman and completed in 1968. It holds an extensive instrument collection alongside personal items belonging to Sibelius, and the hall regularly hosts chamber concerts.

The Norwegian-Dutch jazz ensemble Beiggja performs at the Sibelius Museum. The band formed when four musicians retreated to Norway's winter forest and created refined European jazz.
