Hike, Picnic & Sauna

An easy afternoon hike along the Ispoinen Nature Trail (1.8 km), followed by a picnic at Ispoinen Beach and a session at Ispoinen Beach Sauna. The event is organised by ESN Åbo Akademi and takes place on Saturday, 29 August 2026, starting at 14:00. Meeting point: Market Square, in front of Åbo Svenska Teatern.

The hike is free to join - bring friends along. A discounted sauna slot costs €3.50 and requires a valid ESNcard (limited slots available). Without the discounted ticket, the sauna fee is normally €7 per person, paid directly at the sauna.

What to bring: comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, your own picnic food and drinks, BBQ supplies, and a towel and swimsuit if you plan to use the sauna. The route is short and relaxed - no hiking experience needed.
