Gulis sitz 2026

The English international sitz is Thursday 24.9, but you are welcome to join any of the Swedish-language sitzes as well.

There are four sitzes in total, all running 17:30-22:00:

Wednesday 23.9
Thursday 24.9
Friday 25.9

Doors open at 17:30 and the sitz starts at 18:00 - don't be late.

Ticket sales for members open Thursday 10.9 at 10:00, and for non-members on Monday 14.9 at 10:00. Sales for each sitz close two days before it at 13:00. Due to limited seating, you can only buy a ticket to one sitz. Note that there is a second ticket sale for second-year students and older.

What is a sitz?
A sitz is a three-course student dinner where singing plays a central role. Guests receive a song sheet, and after each song everyone raises their glasses for a toast. The toastmasters run the event, so it's important to follow their lead. Come sober - arriving drunk is strongly discouraged. No one is required to drink, and an alcohol-free option is available for all participants. A ready-made songbooklet is provided, so there's no need to bring your own.
