Ajopuusydän vastarannalla is Heli Ranta's debut novel, published by the small press Stresa. It follows a woman whose life is shaped by postwar scarcity, a stifling small town, and risky relationships pursued in search of art and freedom. The story moves between two cultures in a changing Europe, weaving together painting and writing.
