Ali Jahangiri (born 6 June 1981 in Tehran) is an Iranian-Finnish stand-up comedian, TV and radio host who came to Finland as a refugee child in 1991. He started performing stand-up in 2004 and has since become one of the country's most prominent comedic voices, known for sharp, politically charged material drawn from his own immigrant experience. In 2016 he became the first - and so far only - comedian to receive a grant from the Finnish Cultural Foundation, and was also named Comedian of the Year by his peers that same year.
Jahangiri is part of the Komediafestivaali On The Road summer 2026 tour alongside Ilari Johansson and Niko Kivelä, with dates including Espoo (31 Jul) and Oulu (14 Aug).
Jahangiri and comedian Fabe are announced for a joint show at Tahko on 10 October 2026.
Several postponed Mustavalkoista solo dates were rescheduled as the Kolmen Komediakimppa tour with Aatu Raitala and Roosa Maskonen, playing Porvoo (7 Feb), Mikkeli (13 Feb) and Lohja (27 Feb).
Jahangiri performed a special 'Stand Up in the Dark' edition of his Mustavalkoista show in Hanko on 24 October 2025.
A profile in Vantaan Sanomat noted that Jahangiri has also worked as a K-supermarket entrepreneur in Helsinki's Kamppi for nearly two years alongside his comedy career.
