Nurmes Summer Music

Nurmes Summer Music takes listeners on a journey through the history of classical music. Concerts are held in the concert hall, churches, traditional cottages, and in the town square. The summer academy's open lectures and workshops offer opportunities to deepen knowledge and skills.

Flutist Kaisa Kortelainen and piano professor Tuija Hakkila lead the festival's artistic direction.
