Ánnámáret is a Sámi joik artist who brings traditional luohti into dialogue with contemporary music and visual art. Her work explores Sámi cosmology, the legacy of colonialism and intergenerational grief. In the concert Bálvvosbáiki she performs alongside electronic music, processed kantele-relative jouhikko and video art.
