Archgoat is a Finnish black metal band from Tampere, formed in 1989. One of the earliest acts in Finnish black/death metal, they are known for a raw, ritualistic sound. After a long hiatus they returned in the mid-2000s, releasing albums such as "Whore of Bethlehem" (2006).
