ARKAI is a New York-based electro-acoustic string duo formed by violinist Jonathan Miron and cellist Philip Sheegog, who met as graduate students at the Juilliard School around 2018. They write, produce and arrange all their own material, blending classical technique with cinematic electronics in a sound they describe as 'Hans Zimmer meets 2CELLOS'. Their second album Brightside (2025) won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at the 68th Grammy Awards in February 2026, and the duo has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Emmy Awards and NBA playoff shows, as well as touring globally with Lindsey Stirling.
ARKAI joined pianist Tony Ann on the Synergy Tour across Europe and the UAE, with stops in Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Prague, London and Dubai.
The full SYNERGY album with Tony Ann, released on Decca Records France / Universal Music, came out on 3 April 2026.
