Atomu Tanaka (born 4 October 1987 in Niigata, Japan) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder, currently at FC KTP in Kotka. He has been a fixture in Finnish football since 2015, spending eight seasons at HJK Helsinki where he won five Veikkausliiga titles and two Suomen Cup trophies. Earlier in his career he played over 200 J.League matches for Albirex Niigata and won the Japanese Super Cup with Cerezo Osaka in 2018.
