Broken By The Scream (BBTS) is a Japanese four-piece formed in 2016 that collides extreme metal - deathcore, metalcore, djent - with the aesthetics and vocal style of Japanese idol culture. The group is built around a striking three-layer vocal setup: founding member Io's low growls, Yayoi's high-pitched screams, and the clean melodic voices of Tsubaki and Shizuku. After two European tours and a main-stage slot at Resurrection Fest in Spain, they signed with Metal Blade Records in February 2026 and are now a fixture on the international heavy-music circuit.

The band announced the 'Screaming Rebellion' Europe Tour 2026, a 13-show run across nine countries including Helsinki, Wacken, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Warsaw and more.
Fourth studio album Solar Strain was released on August 13, 2025, featuring the 14-minute epic track 'Tsuioku no Nazca'.
BBTS completed the nine-date SCREAMING INFERNO Europe Tour 2025 across seven countries, including a main-stage performance at Resurrection Fest in Spain.
