Cody Nilsen is a Boston-based guitarist, vocalist and slide specialist who joined the blues trio GA-20 in late 2024, stepping in after founding member Pat Faherty's departure. GA-20, formed in 2018, plays raw electric blues rooted in the Chicago tradition - recording on vintage gear and tracking live in the room - and has placed all four of its studio albums at #1 or #2 on the Billboard Blues charts.
GA-20 released 'Blues Now', a full collaborative album with blues harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite, on July 31, 2026 via New West Records.

GA-20 announced an extensive EU and UK tour for autumn 2026, with dates in Helsinki, Malmö, Prague, Paris, London and other cities.
