Emmylou Harris (born 1947, Birmingham, Alabama) is an American singer-songwriter whose career has spanned country, folk, and Americana for over five decades. She rose to wider recognition through her work with Gram Parsons in the early 1970s, then built a solo catalogue of more than 25 albums and became one of the most sought-after harmony singers in American roots music. A 14-time Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, she is also known for landmark collaborations with artists ranging from Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt to Mark Knopfler and Neil Young.
Harris announced her European Farewell Tour for 2026, billed as her final series of live performances in Europe.
Harris performed at the 2025 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala in Beverly Hills, where her 1995 album Wrecking Ball was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
