Erja Lyytinen (born 7 July 1976 in Kuopio, Finland) is a blues-rock guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who has built a two-decade international career on the strength of her slide guitar playing. She has released thirteen studio albums and performs close to a hundred shows a year across Europe and beyond. Her accolades include the European Blues Award for Best Guitarist (2017), a ranking of #2 in Total Guitar Magazine's "10 Best Guitarists Now" poll, and a historic first Finnish nomination at Canada's Maple Blues Awards in 2022.
Lyytinen announced a Blue Christmas 2026 tour with guests Petra Gargano and Jussu Pöyhönen.
Lyytinen announced a 50th Birthday UK and European tour for October 2026, with seven UK dates spanning Dudley, Sedgefield, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Oxford and London.
Her thirteenth studio album "Smell the Roses" was released in March 2025 and reached #6 on the UK Independent Blues Broadcasters chart in April.
