Florence + the Machine is a British indie rock band fronted by singer Florence Welch, formed in London in 2007. The group broke through internationally with their 2009 debut Lungs and have since released six studio albums - every one of them reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart. Known for Welch's powerful voice and theatrically intense live shows, the band has headlined major festivals worldwide and collaborated with artists ranging from The Rolling Stones to Taylor Swift.
Florence + the Machine released their sixth studio album Everybody Scream on 31 October 2025, debuting at number one on the UK Albums Chart with 31,369 units sold in its first week.
The band announced the Everybody Scream North American arena tour for spring 2026, a 23-show Live Nation-produced run beginning April 8 in Minneapolis and wrapping with two nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Everybody Scream was produced with collaborators including IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen, The National's Aaron Dessner, and Mitski, and draws thematically on Welch's recovery from emergency surgery in 2023.
The Everybody Scream Tour launched on 6 February 2026 in Belfast and received positive critical reviews, with one Glasgow critic describing the show as 'less a concert than a communal ceremony'.
The Everybody Scream Tour is set to conclude on 24 August 2026 at Edinburgh Summer Sessions, following summer festival dates in Ireland and Scotland.
